    Meet Jeremiah, the dedicated owner of Family Chimney Sweeps LLC! With 10 years of experience as a chimney sweep and a passion for keeping homes safe, he brings expertise and care to every job. When he's not sweeping chimneys, Jeremiah serves as a firefighter for the Lincoln Township Fire Department, spends quality time with his family, and enjoys hitting the golf course with friends.

    Fun fact: He once found a cat in a chimney—now named Ember! 🐱🔥

    Meet Roman, one of our skilled technicians at Family Chimney Sweeps! With three years of chimney sweeping experience, he takes pride in providing top-notch service to keep your home safe. Whether he’s out on the lake or teeing off on the golf course, he’s always on the move! ⛳️🚤

  • Colin Killberg (Chimney Sweep Team Lead)

    Meet Colin, one of our passionate technicians at Family Chimney Sweeps! With two years of experience, Colin is dedicated to making sure your chimney is in top shape for safety and efficiency. Outside of chimney work, he loves spending time with his pets—dogs, cats, lizards, turtles, and fish—and dreams of someday combining his love for food with his passion for service by opening a food truck! 🍴🐾

About

The founders and owners of Family Chimney Sweeps LLC are Jeremiah Koch and Dave Koch.

Dave and his wife Liz have six children, and Jeremiah is the middle of their three sons.

Jeremiah was previously employed with Red Bud Chimney Sweeps which served the area since 1994. He and his wife Mallory have been blessed with three children. Jeremiah is a graduate of Michigan Lutheran High School in St. Joseph. He is a certified chimney sweep through the National Chimney Sweep Guild, Licensed Michigan Contractor Michigan M & A License Number 252200087 and Mechanical Contractor Number 7119255, and he is well trained in fire safety, being certified as a Firefighter and serving with the Lincoln Township Fire Department, and is also a certified inspector through the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and State of Michigan Number 22-029. Jeremiah says, "It is very rewarding to serve the families of our communities and I enjoy the opportunity to meet and get to know those around me.”

Dave and Liz have six married children and are the proud grandparents of eleven. Dave earned his Master’s degree in business administration and has served as a manager of business operations for more than 35 years. He is also a certified chimney sweep through the National Chimney Sweep Guild. Dave says, “I care about the health and safety of others and enjoy assessing problems and developing solutions.”
