The founders and owners of Family Chimney Sweeps LLC are Jeremiah Koch and Dave Koch.

Dave and his wife Liz have six children, and Jeremiah is the middle of their three sons.

Jeremiah was previously employed with Red Bud Chimney Sweeps which served the area since 1994. He and his wife Mallory have been blessed with three children. Jeremiah is a graduate of Michigan Lutheran High School in St. Joseph. He is a certified chimney sweep through the National Chimney Sweep Guild, Licensed Michigan Contractor Michigan M & A License Number 252200087, Mechanical Contractor Number 7119255, Part #107 Drone Licensed, and he is well trained in fire safety, being certified as a Firefighter and serving with the Lincoln Township Fire Department, and is also a certified inspector through the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and State of Michigan Number 22-029. Jeremiah says, "It is very rewarding to serve the families of our communities and I enjoy the opportunity to meet and get to know those around me.”

Dave and Liz have six married children and are the proud grandparents of eleven. Dave earned his Master’s degree in business administration and has served as a manager of business operations for more than 35 years. He is also a certified chimney sweep through the National Chimney Sweep Guild. Dave says, “I care about the health and safety of others and enjoy assessing problems and developing solutions.”
